Animal Rescue Quilt Raffle  2010
Special Needs Animal Sanctuary founder MaryAnn Mayne has created the "Animal Rescue Quilt of
Hope" with hopes of helping animal rescuers raise money to help millions of homeless animals
throughout the United States.

The quilt raffle is off to a big start with several animal welfare organizations showing their support by
joining in.

The "Animal Rescue Quilt of Hope" is a statement unlike any other seen before. MaryAnn has
opened her heart and used her artistic talents for a great cause. This is a full size patchwork quilt in
which MaryAnn has searched out a homeless animal from all fifty states and carefully hand painted
that animal onto a quilt square representing that state.  

The past year has left many animal organizations in financial hardship and many forced to close
leaving so many homeless animals to face certain death.  The quilt was created in support of animal
rescuers, animal controls, humane societies, sanctuaries,animal transporters, and individuals
rescuing across the United States.  You do not have to be a 501c3 organization to participate.

Here's How It Works

Tickets are $2 each and 6 for $10.   
Any group can sell the tickets and receive money to help out the animals in their care.  
For every single ticket sold,  you keep $1.
For each set of 6 tickets sold to the "same" person, you keep $5.
The more tickets you sell, the more you make.

Sign Up
To sign up your group or help sell tickets please email your information and how many tickets you
think you can sell.   You can always receive more tickets.  
You will receive a info sheet with color photo of the quilt and a press release for the local media.
Drawing will be held Easter so there will be plenty of time to sell.

This quilt is even more beautiful in person. Absolutely breathtaking. MaryAnn has taken almost two
months to paint and put this together to help.  Please show your support by joining in.  If this is a
success then another quilt can be made.  
Please spread the word amongst fellow rescuers and animal lovers.

The group or individual that sells the most tickets will receive a hand painted keepsake!

with an appliqued paw print on each
corner.  It is a full size quilt. 8'x5'
A hand painted shelter animal
represents all 50 states.  
The quilt has:
dogs, cats, pigs, ferrets, birds,
goats,cows, hedge hog, donkey,
lizard,rabbits, rats, guinea pig.

A color print will be mailed to each
group or individual selling tickets.
